Chocolate, wine, cheese – the artisan retreat
7 pm Fri 15 June – 2 pm Sun 17 June
Tara Hills Retreat Centre
Enjoy a weekend of pleasure for the senses – discovering the wonders of some of the finest award winning Adelaide Hills artisan produce along with great food, meditations and time to relax. Joining us will be Red Cacao chocolatier Marcus Booth-Remmers, Kris Lloyd of Woodside Cheese Wrights and David Bruer of the organic, carbon neutral Temple Bruer Wines. Each of these specialists will share some of their passion and excitement that has led them to be world class in their field. Of course you'll also get a chance to taste some of their produce 🙂
We’ll also build in plenty of time to unwind, restore your energies and soak up the fresh air and expansive scenery around Tara Hills. No previous retreat experience needed. This is a great place to start if you’ve never done a retreat before.

Our new architecturally designed accommodation building, in use from June 2015, features four rooms (either single or double) all with lovely north facing views across the valley and their own en suite facilities.

What to expect on a Lifeflow retreat
Each day of the retreat provides a good balance between classes, time on your own, guided meditation sessions and plenty of time to enjoy the countryside. You can find out much more on our Retreat FAQ page.
What retreat is for
Lifeflow retreat practice gives you time to rest, to restore your energies and the opportunity to let go of deadlines and busyness. You can learn to nurture yourself, restore a sense of balance and well-being, and open up to nature. See our Retreat FAQ page for more.
What experience do I need?
No prior yoga, meditation or retreat experience is required to attend this retreat. You will be guided by a team of experienced teachers who can help answer any questions that may arise during the retreat. All meditation sessions are guided and there is a theory class each day to support the understanding of the practical sessions.
What do I need to bring?
When you book into a retreat we'll send you a map of directions to Tara Hills and a summary of what to bring (in short: if you are staying in an Ensuite room or a Standard room with linen service, then you just need to bring some comfortable clothing and toiletries. If you are staying in a Standard room with no linen service then please bring bedding as well). Everything else is provided. More details can be found on our Retreats FAQ page or call Lifeflow for more info on 08 8379 9001.
