Level 2 brings you a rich body of knowledge presented in three easy to understand modules. Learn skills for a healthier mind, body and emotions.
Learn to Meditate forms the foundation for everything taught at Lifeflow. Level 2 takes these fundamentals and builds on them further to create the foundation for a calmer, wiser and more aware life.
Learning these incredibly useful tools can lead to a profound positive impact on your health and wellbeing.
What's in Level 2?
This meditation course is taught in three self contained modules – details below. One module is taught each term. You can come to one, two or all three of the modules. You can start in any term and continue for three terms to cover the entire course. Completing three modules is only a requirement if you wish to progress to Level 3.
In addition, it is recommended that students complete at least one weekend retreat before progressing to Level 3. Refer to our Lifeflow retreats page to find out what’s scheduled.

What's in each module
Have you sometimes noticed that there is a lot more going on in your mind that what you are aware of? Or, that sometimes it feels like emotions just come out of nowhere?
By practising mindfulness you can start to bring clarity to all of the different levels of your day to day experience – from the simple physical level through to the subtle background feelings moving through your body to noticing your thoughts, beliefs and expectations.
By developing this awareness you can learn to move more skilfully through life, opening to greater joy and contentment.
Meditation can take you to levels where your body is deeply relaxed and your mind is still, clear and open. It’s a naturally blissful state. Learn about the many layers to this experience and gain confidence to take your meditations deeper.
You’ll also learn practical approaches for maintaining balance in everyday life – so you can focus better and be more productive at what you do.
Along the way we’ll also look at states of emotional conflict. The meditation tradition knows these states intimately (think wanting more and more, anger, fear, anxiety, feeling flat) and you’ll learn tools to understand what is happening and how to begin to let go of them.
This module is all about emotions – how to keep your emotional balance and be in the flow. Healthy emotions rest on an understanding of how they work and knowing how to look after them, just like the need to look after your physical body.
We’ll also show you how to look after your emotional reserves, working with your body rather than overriding it. This has a big impact on your overall mental and physical health. As a society we are not taught how to look after this area of our lives like we are for our academic brain – or fitness and diet for our bodies – it is left to chance.
With these tools you can take your emotional health into your own hands.
More about the course
Lifeflow has adopted a Covid Plan to ensure that our in-person classes are comfortable and safe for all attendees. This includes physical distancing arrangements and regular disinfecting of high contact areas at the studio. Unfortunately, we cannot allow anyone to attend our classes who is displaying cold or flu like symptoms.

This course is for students who have completed our Learn to Meditate course.
The course is taught in three self contained modules – each one being 7 classes of 1.5 hours duration.
You can come to one, two or all three of the modules. You can start in any term and continue for three terms to cover the entire course.
It is only a requirement to complete all three modules if you wish to progress to Level 3.
A limited number of half fee scholarships for the individual Level 2 modules are available for people with eligible concession cards.

As a result of many psychologists attending our courses we were asked to seek endorsement with the Australian Psychological Society. The APS replied, ‘APS Members can accrue CPD points by participating in CPD activities they determine to be relevant to their individual professional skills, learning plans and goals. These do not need to be endorsed by the APS’. Applicable to Lifeflow courses and retreats.
It is your responsibility to attend the classes as scheduled. If you cancel your booking five clear working days before the course starts, we will give you a full refund less a $25 admin fee. We cannot provide a refund after this time unless the course is cancelled, in which case a full refund will be given.
