Lite retreat - easy going, a great weekend away

Open up to your senses through food, wine and meditation. Local artisans, local produce – a mindfulness weekend of discovery for all the senses. All in a beautiful country retreat setting in the Adelaide Hills.

On this weekend you will open up to all of your senses through the taste, texture and aroma of food and wine and the sights and sounds of nature at Tara Hills.

Guiding you through three separate workshops over the weekend will be Red Cacao chocolatier Marcus Booth-Remmers, Kris Lloyd of Woodside Cheese Wrights and David Bruer of the organic Temple Bruer Wines.

This is a unique opportunity to learn and ask questions with each of these specialists, sharing in the passion and excitement that has led them to be world class in their field. Of course you'll also get a chance to taste their produce in these hands on, immersive mindful eating and tasting workshops.

All of this will be enjoyed within the relaxed retreat setting of Tara Hills in the Adelaide Hills. Relax and restore your energies with guided meditation, Stretch and Breathe, deep relaxation session, walks and time to sleep in! You won’t need to lift a finger with the fully catered, delicious vegetarian meals on offer.

No previous retreat experience is needed. This is a great place to start if you’ve never done a retreat before and if you delight in the world of quality food and wine.

For those that have enjoyed a Lifeflow retreat before, this is an opportunity to integrate your previous meditation and mindfulness experience with the practical sensing workshops whilst enjoying the usual benefits of retreat conditions. It will be a weekend of pleasure for the senses!

What to expect on a Lifeflow Lite retreat

Each day of this retreat provides a good balance between practical workshops, time on your own, guided meditation sessions and plenty of time to enjoy the countryside.

What retreat is for

This retreat is an opportunity to mindfully enjoy and explore all your senses within a retreat environment. Lifeflow retreat practice gives you time to rest, to restore your energies and the opportunity to let go of deadlines and busyness. You can learn to nurture yourself, restore a sense of balance and well-being, and open up to nature. The practical workshops will be a chance to mindfully explore your senses with the finest of produce.

What experience do I need?

No prior meditation, yoga or retreat experience is required to attend this retreat. You will be guided by experienced teachers who can help answer any questions that may arise during the retreat. All meditation sessions are guided.

What do I need to bring?

When you book into a retreat we'll send you a map of directions to Tara Hills and a summary of what to bring (in short: if you are staying in an Ensuite room or a Standard room with linen service, then you just need to bring some comfortable clothing and toiletries. If you are staying in a Standard room with no linen service then please bring bedding as well). Everything else is provided. More details can be found on our Retreats FAQ page or call Lifeflow for more info on 08 8379 9001.

Getting to Tara Hills

When you book into a retreat we'll send you a map of directions to Tara Hills. It's about a 45 minute drive from Adelaide, just past Nairne in the Adelaide Hills.
