Chocolate, wine, cheese – the artisan retreat
7 pm Fri 15 June – 2 pm Sun 17 June
Tara Hills Retreat Centre
Open up to your senses through food, wine and meditation. Local artisans, local produce – a mindfulness weekend of discovery for all the senses. All in a beautiful country retreat setting in the Adelaide Hills.
On this weekend you will open up to all of your senses through the taste, texture and aroma of food and wine and the sights and sounds of nature at Tara Hills.
Guiding you through three separate workshops over the weekend will be Red Cacao chocolatier Marcus Booth-Remmers, Kris Lloyd of Woodside Cheese Wrights and David Bruer of the organic Temple Bruer Wines.
This is a unique opportunity to learn and ask questions with each of these specialists, sharing in the passion and excitement that has led them to be world class in their field. Of course you'll also get a chance to taste their produce in these hands on, immersive mindful eating and tasting workshops.
All of this will be enjoyed within the relaxed retreat setting of Tara Hills in the Adelaide Hills. Relax and restore your energies with guided meditation, Stretch and Breathe, deep relaxation session, walks and time to sleep in! You won’t need to lift a finger with the fully catered, delicious vegetarian meals on offer.
No previous retreat experience is needed. This is a great place to start if you’ve never done a retreat before and if you delight in the world of quality food and wine.
For those that have enjoyed a Lifeflow retreat before, this is an opportunity to integrate your previous meditation and mindfulness experience with the practical sensing workshops whilst enjoying the usual benefits of retreat conditions. It will be a weekend of pleasure for the senses!
