Janine joined the Lifeflow teaching team in 2012. She has practised meditation since 1980 in various Buddhist meditation traditions. She found that Lifeflow Meditation offered support, direction and explanation with regard to the more subtle (and life-changing) understandings that come with sustained meditation practice. Her long association with meditation has brought a deep confidence and an appreciation of the struggle everyone has in meeting life’s challenges.
Janine has worked extensively in the field of vocational rehabilitation, and as a caseworker assisting women in the homelessness sector. She has found the balancing effects of meditation a gift when working with deeply troubled women, contributing to their sense of safety and trust. Janine now works primarily as a policy coordinator in this field.
Meditation has been a rich and fascinating journey into my own mind and emotions, enabling me to face the vicissitudes of life with greater calm.
