Registered Social Worker

Member – Meditation Association of Australia

Michelle has been a member of Lifeflow since 2014. She quickly discovered that meditation practice provides a solid foundation for daily living. It is invaluable in all areas of her life, bringing a deeper appreciation for her experiences, relationships and the environment we live in.

Michelle guides sessions for the Lifeflow community, as well as government, corporate and community groups. She is a registered Social Worker and has worked in both public and private sectors providing counselling, therapy and mindfulness classes to people of various ages and walks of life. In private practice, Michelle offers counselling and therapy to assist with a broad range of mental health and wellbeing concerns. She often combines meditation and mindfulness practices with other evidence-based therapies.

Michelle holds a Masters of Clinical Social Work. She has trained with Lifeflow Meditation Centre and the Australian Institute of Applied Mindfulness. Other interests include spending time with family, being in nature, walking, gardening and cosying up with a good book.

Michelle meditates daily and participates in retreat work at Lifeflow. She enjoys the calm, clarity and stillness within the practice, and finds it to be deeply restorative.

Once the seed was planted meditation grew quietly and steadily in my life, bringing a deeper appreciation for my relationships, my experiences and the world we live in.
