Have you ever wondered if it’s possible to cultivate emotional wellbeing?

Is feeling happy just an accident, or are there things that can help?

Maybe you look to others or life situations to make you feel good or pin your hopes on big achievements. These do make you feel good temporarily. But what about all the moments in between? Is there something that you can tap into throughout the year and throughout your life?

Yes! And this is where the skills and wisdom of meditation come into their own.

In this retreat we will give you the structure and the supportive environment to relax and let go, by firstly allowing time to relax deeply and restore energy reserves.

What people find is that just by doing this you’ll open to a quality of wellbeing that you may have thought had been lost forever.

Then we’ll guide you through exercises specifically designed for cultivating bliss and wellbeing. Not an over the top and out of control bliss, but rather a steady warm glow that you can develop and bring into your life. It’s like restoring a well spring of joy – clear, simple and always refreshing.

It’s something that you can take with you and utilise long after the retreat has finished.

Suitable for all levels of experience – beginners can start here, experienced meditators can take their practice further and deeper.

And relax … you will be looked after and everything will be taken care of including delicious vegetarian meals, a beautiful peaceful spot in nature, comfortable accommodation and plenty of space and time to yourself.

Retreat fee includes

  • Guidance throughout each day in retreat. There are normally 4–5 guided sessions per day: meditation, deep relaxation and gentle yoga.
  • Retreat handout with a summary of the theory being presented.
  • All meals are fully catered including snacks in between meals. We serve delicious, fresh, healthy vegetarian food. (If you have any special food requirements, eg gluten-free, lactose intolerance etc, please bring any additional items you may need; soy milk is provided.)
  • Purpose built retreat accommodation at Tara Hills Retreat Centre – choose from a range of rooms and orientations – click here to find out more about the types of rooms available. All rooms include linen.
  • Highly qualified teachers are on every retreat – you can check your meditation and yoga experiences and get some guidance during the retreat.

No prior meditation, yoga or retreat experience is required to attend this retreat. You will be guided by a team of experienced teachers who can help answer any questions that may arise during the retreat. All meditation sessions are guided and there is a theory class each day to support the understanding of the practical sessions.

Each day of the retreat provides a good balance between classes, time on your own, guided meditation sessions and plenty of time to enjoy the countryside. You can find out much more on our  Retreat FAQ page.

Lifeflow retreat practice gives you time to rest, to restore your energies and the opportunity to let go of deadlines and busyness. You can learn to nurture yourself, restore a sense of balance and well-being, and open up to nature. See our Retreat FAQ page for more.

When you book into a retreat we’ll send you a map of directions to Tara Hills and a summary of what to bring. If you are staying in a premium ensuite room, superior standard room or a standard room with linen service, then you just need to bring some comfortable clothing and toiletries. If you are staying in a standard room with no linen service then please bring bedding as well. Everything else is provided.
