Riding the cycles in life
– personal growth in times of change
6.30 pm Friday 24 June – 2 pm Sunday 26 June
Tara Hills Retreat Centre
Working towards the big life goals gives you meaning, direction and purpose. But have you noticed that the security and feelings of wellbeing that come from these life achievements can be short lived?
After the high comes the low. We love the high and try to avoid the low. But, you can’t live without the low, it is integral to the pattern of life. After day comes night. Then after the night comes day again.
These are the cycles that we inevitably face – times of achieving, times of letting go.
On this retreat you will discover that instead of trying to avoid this, there is a lot we can learn from these cycles.
They can be a way to greater self-knowledge, realising deeper values, times for letting go of old beliefs and learning to open to life in a wider perspective.
Using the meditation skills and training you can build greater emotional resilience and maybe even get through stages that you thought you couldn’t face.
This can open a door to greater self-acceptance and contentment.
And relax … you will be looked after and everything will be taken care of including delicious vegetarian meals, a beautiful peaceful spot in nature, comfortable accommodation and plenty of space and time to yourself.
